David has over two decades of experience building investment businesses, managing portfolios and analyzing stocks. Prior to CenterBook Partners, he founded and was Portfolio Manager/Managing Member of Conatus Capital, a multi-billion-dollar global long/short equity fund manager. David was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Lone Pine Capital, an associate at McKinsey & Company and served as Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee of Greenwich Academy. He graduated from Yale with a B.A. in History summa cum laude, Harvard Business School with an MBA with distinction, and Harvard Law School with a J.D. magna cum laude.

Chris has over two decades of experience in hedge fund asset management, specializing in quantitative investment, alpha capture, and risk management. Prior to joining CenterBook Partners, Chris was Head of Alpha Strategies and Co-Head of Quant for Graticule Asset Management Asia, where he ran internal alpha capture and built the firm’s center book. He was formerly a partner of Nezu Asia Capital Management, where, as Head of Portfolio Construction and Risk, he was responsible for the systematic implementation of fundamental alpha sources. Before joining the Nezu Group, Chris was Portfolio Manager and Director of Risk and Quantitative Strategies at Elmwood Advisors, where he ran market-neutral quantitative equity strategies. Previously, Chris served as Senior Vice President and Head of Equity Risk at Financial Risk Management (FRM) in Tokyo and New York. Chris had also served as Manager of Quantitative Equity Sales and Research at Schroder Securities Japan. He began his career working for Cazenove Securities in London and Tokyo in Equity Sales and Research. Chris graduated with an L.L.B. in English Law & Japanese Language from Cardiff University (UK)/Obirin University (Tokyo).

K.C. has over fifteen years of experience in the hedge fund space. Prior to joining CenterBook Partners, he Co-Founded Factor Sentiment Analytics ("FSA"), a quantitative market research firm. K.C. was also the Founder and General Partner of AQIS, a systematic equity long/short hedge fund. Before launching AQIS and FSA, he was a member of the investment team at North Star Partners, a small-cap, value-oriented long/short equity hedge fund which he joined as an Analyst. Prior to joining North Star, K.C. was an Analyst with Post Road Capital, a value-oriented long/short equity hedge fund. His research articles have been featured in Absolute Return, the Novus blog, and in July of 2020, K.C. was a featured podcast guest on Season Three of Flirting with Models, a quantitative investing podcast. K.C. has served as a board member of real estate and hospitality firm Reserve Rentals as well as My Money Workshop, a not-for-profit organization teaching personal fiscal responsibility. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Mark has over two decades of global financial services experience. He has served as COO and CFO in addition to other roles in the hedge fund industry. His experience includes leading a planned spin-out of RBC’s multi-manager proprietary trading group with quantitative strategies into a hedge fund and as COO and CFO at 5:15 Capital Management, where he drove the transition to an institutionalized manager with multiple funds. Prior to transitioning to the asset management sector, Mark worked globally at Morgan Stanley for twelve years in various roles including as International Treasurer. Mark received a B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jason leads the business development and investor relations departments for CenterBook Partners. Most recently, Jason ran the North American business development effort for Brawn Capital, a manager focused on renewable power infrastructure assets in Asia. Prior to Brawn Capital, Jason managed large and mega-cap client relationships for Gartner’s North American high-tech advisory business after nearly a half-decade serving as Global Head of Sales for Alpha Theory. During his tenure at Alpha Theory, the company emerged as the global authority on embedding behavioral finance and decision science best practices in the investment process of the world’s most respected hedge funds and investment managers. Jason graduated from Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies with a B.S. in International Relations and completed his Executive Education at Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development.
